Sugar trouble....

Don't assume anything in France...I assumed that "Poudre" ( powder!!) i France was really powder...however, it is just super fine sugar....I hope it did not ruin my recipe. I ran back to the store and talked it out with a manager..."sucre glace" is what I needed. It is confectionary sugar. I don't know the word for blow , so. 2x I had to pantomime blowing the powder off my hand...( actually, I do know the word...souffler)...Let's see if I can save the recipie.
