Kurt Vile - Like Exploding Stones

Just LOVE Kurt Vile...incredible guitar....I love the hypnotic chilled out, irreverent feel of his music.

Why? I am open to all kinds of music...I had an early start because of my Dad...he was really into music and he shared that with me when I was really small....sadly, he was very closed minded to newer music later in life. He missed a lot.

Maybe I have some of that as I detest Pop music....like the performers you see at music awards....

My father despised Elvis, but I think it was his physicality that got my father...not the music. He and my sister had wars over Elvis...I can appreciate Elvis for his place in time and his genius...but I don't like the music.

My war with him would have been the Beatles, but he didn't have the same dislike.

Anyway...my extreme love of music...and LOUD music comes from him. I am also willing to let some things in and cause I do, I am rewarded with music like Kurt Vile's.
